Every 1st weekend of the month it is slightly different in Middelburg!
Arrive in your luxurious apartment on Friday and, after taking a break, dive into a cafe or lunchroom. Enjoy the cozy atmosphere in the city and go to one of the delicious restaurants in Middelburg. On Saturday, after a delicious breakfast at breakfast café Bezjoer, you will experience culture in the monumental center of Middelburg and visit the cozy boutiques and small shops that Middelburg has to offer. At the end of the afternoon it is time for a drink in one of our cozy pubs and if you enjoy a few hours of live music, go to le Penseur between 4 and 6 pm. Now you know where to find another fun evening! Wake up quietly on Sunday, enjoy a delicious breakfast at Bezjoer, take a sporty walk on one of our Zeeland beaches or the Boulevard in Vlissingen and then enjoy the Art and Culture Route through Middelburg in the afternoon where many galleries have their studios, but also the shops are open.

You arrive on Friday and can then explore the Zeeland provincial capital on your own. Or take a trip to Vlissingen or one of the extensive beaches. In the evening you can relax in your home base in the heart of Middelburg, ApartHotel Waepen van Middelburg.
After breakfast on Saturday morning it is time for a bike tour (departure 10 am or 2.30 pm) with guide Eef. The historic center of Middelburg is particularly suitable for exploring by bicycle. Eef takes you to the most beautiful hidden gems of the city, while she explains facts and fables from the glorious past. All under the watchful eye of Lange Jan and Malle Betje, who have determined the cityscape for hundreds of years. You can use your own bicycle or optionally one of the second chance city bicycles during the tour.
After all the impressions and activity, you can enjoy a delicious dinner at... Then the choice is yours: enter the vibrant nightlife, enjoy one of the many festivals in the city center or end the day quietly in your own apartment.
On Sunday morning you can enjoy our breakfast buffet in peace. This way you will return home feeling refreshed and refreshed.
